Gary Boyle:
What an impressive pedigree as a session player, sideman, band leader and solo artist too – Gary has worked with the likes of Dusty Springfield, Brian Auger, Julie Driscoll, Mike Westbrook, Soft Machine, Mike Gibbs, Eberhard Weber, Keith Tippett, Eddie Harris, Bert Jansch, founding 70s fusion group Isotope and 80s trio Triple Echo – veteran guitarist GARY BOYLE is a master musician well worth re-discovering.
In 1973 Gary formed jazz fusion band Isotope who recorded three albums and toured extensively in the UK, Europe and the USA. Albums – ISOTOPE, ILLUSION, and DEEP END.
After Isotope disbanded in 1975 Gary recorded several solo albums, THE DANCER & ELECTRIC GLIDE. During this period Gary was voted New Star in the Melody Maker Poll and THE DANCER won the Pop/Jazz Award at Montreux Jazz Festival. GARY is a master musician bringing his talent to Nujazzeurope's latest album, he is a true "Spirit from the past."

"nujazzeurope recordings is a music label based in Glasgow Scotland and is run by this really cool guy named Pete Fletcher. Pete has a unique approach to releasing other people’s music and one that is based on purely wanting to support the music he likes. He works on trust and doesn’t even require his artists sign contracts. He allows his artists to retain full copyrights of their material and to work with other labels as they desire. It’s quite amazing really. Pete really cares about the music and puts a lot of effort into promoting. That’s why we decided to release our CD “Hakel Tribulation through Nujazzeurope.
